Overall Ramifications From The Rap Beef Impact On Hip-Hop Culture This rap beef was one for the ages... Some could even compare the hype to the Tupac and Biggie feud YEARS ago, battle of the east and west coast rappers. Both Drake and Kendrick's clash garnered so much global attention, with media outlet and fans around the world discussing the lyrics, meaning, and implications of the diss tracks put out by both artists. This showcases the power of music to incite these cultural conversations. A lot of the media and fans are claiming that these two artists "saved rap", as it was a genre thought to be slowly declining in quality. Media Project Review Album cover: Drake and PartyNextDoor posing in front of the CN Tower in Ontario, Canada Introduction:   The music recording I chose to analyze is an LP by Drake and PartyNextDoor , called “Some S ** y Songs For U” (SSS4U) . It was released in late February of this year , mark ing Drake’s 3 rd collaboration project and first one with another fellow Toronto R&B artist. This album stands out because this was the first time Drake dropped new music since the rap beef ended. Additionally, f ans were very speculative in what kind of approach he was going to take going into this new studio album. Was he going to fire more shots at Kendrick? Week 5 - Media Blog Project (Option 2)

Outer Banks Describe:  For this media project, I decided to conduct my analysis on the Outer Banks series . I finished the latest season a little while back... However, I just re-watched a couple of episodes on the plane recently on Netflix. I would say this series falls into the adventure /mystery /drama genre . The episode I want to share is the finale episode of season 4 . A quick rundown on the series plot, t he main characters in the show are J ohn B, Kiara, JJ, Sarah, Pope, and Cleo – all representing the Pogue community. In the series, there are 2 main communities on the Outer Banks Island – Pogues and Kooks. Pogues are portrayed as the “working-class ”, living on the less-affluent side of the island, while the Kooks are portrayed as the “wealthy” living in the city. In this episode, the Pogues are chasing a mystical blue crown in Morrocco, where they face off against mercenaries and uncover deep family secrets.
